This property is located in the Kendall Building of Cascade Village with beautiful views of the surrounding San Juan mountains. This two bedroom and two bath Forester style is perfect for your visit to the Durango area. The ground level offers a full kitchen, dining area and living room. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV and DVD. Tile floors through out the first level except in the bedroom. There is a deck off of the dining room. The first level bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed. There is a full bath on the main level. There is a full size washer/dryer. The second level is a master bedroom loft with a king bed, flat screen TV DVD and a sleeper sofa in the sitting area. The bathroom has a shower and features a huge Jacuzzi tub overlooking the14,000 ft. peaks. There is covered parking below the town home with direct access to the unit. Wireless internet.

  We historically like Cascade Village, it's a great location, good amenities, and a little quieter than staying at Purgatory, that being said we were pretty disappointed with our stay this time.
  
  overall the condo was (mostly) clean, everything was stocked, including plenty of bath soap, fire wood, you know all the amenities. when I say mostly clean, we did find a few things on the floor behind night stands, a random hair in the sink, a couple of the towels had makeup stains on them, etc.
  
  things took a really disappointing turn the minute we got there though when we couldn't turn the lights on, half the light switches didn't work, and there were baseboard heater thermostats EVERYWHERE! trying to manage / control the temp became a full time job.
  
  Listen, we're not nitpickers looking to gripe about every little detail, we would've been fine with one or two of these issues, but at this price SOMETHING needs to be quality. to top it off with the WORST mattresses and bedding in history, you really have to write this one off as a bust. The mattresses and pillows were old, thin and hard as a rock, the back seat of the car was more comfortable.

  It is a very convenient place to stay. Very near from purgatory resort with covered parking lot. This cabin in particular would need a little renovation, TVs are very small and without remote control, the second bethroom has different beds than the pictures which is better. Has a queen and a single bed. The view is incredible.
