Room to move! This modern luxury 3-bedroom townhouse has all the right spaces. Located at the less developed, northern end of the sprawling Cascade Village resort complex, guests can enjoy all the activities and amenities the property offers, while surrounded by the breathtaking high peaks of The San Juan Mountains. The townhouse’s two-story great room features an elegant stone propane fueled fireplace, oversized sectional couch, and a view that will make you never want to leave! Take in the fresh mountain air while gazing out onto the beautiful scenery of Spud, Engineer, Grizzly, and the West Needle Mountains from your private outdoor deck. During the warm weather months, you can enjoy cooking your evening meal on the propane grill located on the deck, while watching the evening glow on the Twilight Mts. Spend an afternoon curled up using our fast fiber optic WIFI, or watching your favorite DVDs on the large flat screen TV, or reading a book next to a cozy fire on chilly winter evenings. There are 5 smart TV’s (in the great room, loft, and each bedroom), all of which have Chromecast devices installed to access your favorite apps. Each television allows free access to YouTube TV which provides you with over 85 channels for viewing. There is a half bath located adjacent to the great room. Preparing meals will be a breeze in the well-appointed kitchen with its granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, including a gas range. All of the necessary tools are provided to create a feast for the family. The separate dining area with wet bar provides a lovely space for elegant dinner parties or family game nights. The master bedroom is located on the first floor with a full designer bath including large tub, and separate tiled shower. A king-sized bed with luxury linens will please even the most finicky guest. Arriving at the upper level you will find a large loft with a queen-sized leather sleeper sofa, additional seating, two desks, and smart TV. The large laundry room off the loft features washer, dryer, laundry sink, and plenty of cabinet and counter space. This level also houses 2 bedrooms, one with a king, the other with a queen-sized bed. There is a well-appointed bathroom serving this floor. Below the main living area is an oversized, two car garage . There is abundant space to store both your summer and winter outdoor equipment such as snowboards, skis, packs, and kayaks. A new ping pong table was recently added for family gatherings after a long day enjoying the San Juan Mountains. This townhouse truly is a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered!

    This is a great townhouse - totally as pictured and completely stocked. Everything was clean and ready to go. Sadly, and out of control of the homeowner, the restaurant is no longer open. However, not including what is at Purgatory a mile away, there are 3 other great locals places to eat.
    The pool and indoor spa are nice - actually, the spa is one of the best as far as jets.
    The property manager is helpful and responsive.
    I would definitely stay here again!

    The property is beautiful, cozy, very clean and well maintained. The manager was very helpful at all times and provided great costumer service. If going skiing, the location is great, a 5 minute drive to Purgatory Resort. I completely recommend this property and we're planning to go back soon.

    I can’t say enough good things about Brandon!!! Brandon was always eager to please and checking to make sure everything was great. The views every morning were absolutely breathtaking. The roads were always cleared early in the mornings so travel to Durango was easy. Definitely will stay at this rental again and again.

    Our Durango stay was nothing short of perfect. Brandon with Young Mountain was amazing.
    The roofs were being done while we were there. It was definitely loud, but we didn’t complain because it was nobody’s fault. Brandon refunded us a portion of our stay without even being asked! Wow!! What service.

    The house was spacious, so clean, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We felt like we were being hosted by family!
    The house is about 25 minutes from downtown Durango, but we loved being out of town and having quick access to hikes.
    The amenities at Cascade Village were perfect for our family to spend a whole day enjoying.

    We will definitely return again!!

    Enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back. More than enough space for our family (2 adults/2 teenagers) to have their own space and be together. The views were amazing-we had several storms while we were there and had spectacular double rainbows after (even saw a bear out the garage on the last day.). The pool was amazing and loved the ping pong table in the garage! Hiking available within a short drive and drive to Silverton to access the Alpine Loop was a nice drive.

    The unit was well appointed and very comfortable. The overall property was very quiet but the swimming pool, tennis courts and ping pong table gave the kids plenty to do.

    The complex is a distinct contrast to the bustling touristy but enjoyable atmosphere of Durango. It is remote and quiet. Purgatory ski resort is just a few miles away for additional activities. Make sure you do your grocery shopping as it is about a 30 minute drive into Durango to the grocery store. There is a convenience store about 10 minutes away for simple essentials. If you want to go out for a meal there are plenty of great places to eat in Durango, but it is about a 35-40 minute drive into town.

    We went to Bears Ranch and enjoyed a 2 hour horseback ride across Hwy 550 from the Hermosa cliffs. We also hiked to Cascade Falls and Potato / Spud lake. The trailhead is very near to the property. Zip lining and whitewater rafting are also available in and around Durango.

    It got fairly warm the last day we were there, so we had to open the windows to let in some cooler air.

    I would definitely stay here again and recommend the location to anyone looking for a quiet get-away.

    The pictures do not do this place justice. The rental was exceptional. The location is soo convenient to the slopes and the on-site restaurant is also super convenient. The rental space was clean, well decorated, well stocked and gorgeous.

    This rental was amazing! It was even nicer than anticipated. Our party of 8 stayed and slept comfortably. The location was perfect, only about a 5 minute drive down the road to the ski resort. The property description was accurate and the place was extremely clean and well-maintained. All communication with Brandon was helpful and immediate. We enjoyed the pool table in the garage along with the shared hot tub, and had no trouble streaming the super bowl and music in the living room. The unit was easily accessible with the garage code and neighbors were extremely friendly! I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or family member. We had a bit of trouble locating the unit at first with the address given to us, but once we typed in “Cascade Village” to our navigation, it was very easy to find.

    This unit is lovely and spacious - lots of bells and whistles. We had a party of 8 and we cooked all the meals here with no problems and lots of space to sleep. The property manager, Brandon, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. 10 Stars for Brandon! There is also a lovely restaurant and a ski rental shop in the complex. SO convenient. Plus the pool, hot tub, game room, etc. We were only 2 miles north of the Purgatory entrance. We would definitely stay again.
